Parliament debate on censure motion against government to end with roll-call vote at 18:30

The debate in Parliament on the censure motion against the government, tabled by main opposition New Democracy over the agreement reached with Skopje for resolving the name dispute, continued for the final day on Saturday.

It will conclude with the speeches of the political party leaders and prime minister, ending with a roll-call vote that is expected to be held at 18:30.

ND, the Democratic Alliance and Potami parties have said they will vote in favour of the censure motion, while the Centrists' Union has made its vote conditional on whether ND will make a firm pledge to overturn the agreement with Skopje. The Communist Party of Greece (KKE) has withdrawn from the debate, while far-right Golden Dawn was deprived of the right to speak on Friday, due to the statements made by its now ousted MP Kostas Barbaroussis, though it will take part in the vote.
