New law allows faster set up of companies
A ministerial decision reducing the time needed to set up companies has been published in the government gazette, in a bid to reduce red tape for investors.
The decision says that investors will be able to set up a company via a one stop shop, meaning that the process can be completed via the Greek General Commercial Registry (GEMI) services provided by the chambers of commerce.
The process will take two days, under normal circumstances.
