British tourist found dead on a regional road on Corfu
A British citizen aged 40-45 was found dead early on Wednesday at a regional road in the area of Ai-Yiannis on the island of Corfu.
According to Athens-Macedonian News Agency sources, the body was found next to garbage bins on the road by a passerby, who informed the police.
Preliminary information revealed the Briton was a tourist spending his holidays on the island.
Police ruled out the possibility of foul play while the cause of his death is expected to be determined by a post-mortem examination.
