Wildfire on Crete under partial control
A wildfire that broke out on Wednesday in the area of Spina, Kandanos on Crete, was set under partial control.
According to the chief of Crete's Fire Brigade Yiannis Marangakis, the fire has burnt approximately 60 hectares of forest and brushland as well as 10 hectares of farmland.
Firefighters remain in the area to set the blaze under total control and prevent rekindling.
