ND wants elections right now, Kikilias says

Main opposition New Democracy (ND) shadow Defence Minister Vassilis Kikilias said that his party insists on the request for elections 'right now' because as soon as this government leaves the taxation will be reduced and the economy will reverse with better conditions, speaking to SKAI TV on Saturday.

"Those (government) who voted the cuts in pensions and the reduction of the tax free are political imposters and deceive the Greeks" Kikilias said.

Referring to the agreement with Skopje, Kikilias said that at some time, with another government and another policy, with work and the Greek people's sacrifices the economy will recover but whenever there was damage to the national issues it has not be resolved.

"Zoran Zaev (Skopje prime minister) speaks of Macedonian nation of Macedonian language and vindication and of a Macedonian army and he will offer to the NATO. Mr. Tsipras is proud for this agreement. For decades nobody had imagined to sign a bad or moderate agreement and this government came to resolve the Skopje issue in the worst possible way. By offering Macedonian language, identity and nationality. Our national interest is damaged in a way which is unacceptable. The deputies of the government's majority are co-responsible because they signed it and will bear the historic responsibility" Kikilias said.
