One teacher dead, three injured after car is hit by a train

The car crossed the tracks, for unknown reasons, and was hit by the train on the Lamia-Athens route. The train hit the car on the passenger side and back and swept it along the tracks for about 500 meters. The driver and three passengers - two men and another woman - were freed by police and the fire brigade and taken to hospital with minor injuries, while the woman on the passenger side was pronounced dead at the scene.
