FM Dendias welcomes US Secretary of State Pompeo to the Foreign Ministry

The two officials will make joint statements to the press after the end of their meeting, the meeting of the two countries' delegations and finally the signing of the Mutual Defense Cooperation Agreement- MDCA that strengthens the alliance between Athens and Washington, an agreement that Dendias characterised in an interview to ANT1 TV on Friday evening "an agreement that shields the country, and our interests and increases the US defence 'footprint' in our region".
