Interior ministry on full alert to support Elassona earthquake victims
The political leadership of the interior ministry on Wednesday put all services responsible for addressing the immediate needs of earthquake victims in Elassona on full alert, at the orders of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

The interior ministry is ready to support the local authorities in restoring the damage caused by the 6.0 Richter earthquake.
Both Interior Minister Makis Voridis and Alternate Interior Minister responsible for Local Administartion issues Stelios Petsas spoke with the regional governor of Thessaly Kostas Agorastos, with mayors of the area and with New Democracy deputies elected in Thessaly in order to be briefed on the situation.
