Digital education dominates meeting between Kerameus, Vestager
"The digital transformation of education and the strategic reform axes" dominated the meeting between Education Minister Niki Kerameus and European Commissioner responsible for 'Europe Fit for the Digital Age', Margrethe Vestager, on Sunday.
Kerameus presented the five main pillars of the reforms in education: "upgrading of soft and digital skills, inclusion, autonomy and evaluation, connection of education with the labour market, as well as strengthening the extroversion and internationalization of our teacher systemic."
Referring to the digital transformation of education, Kerameus analysed that they aim to strengthen the digital equipment of schools and students, to strengthen networks, to cultivate digital skills, and to digitize processes.
"Making use of the digital leap that took place during the pandemic, we continue the digital transformation of education," the Education Minister said in the announcement.
