President Sakellaropoulou participates in event on Dionysios Solomos in National Garden
President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou on Wednesday delivered an address during an event dedicated to Greece's national poet Dionysios Solomos, organised by the Zakynthos municipality and the Zakynthos Unesco Group in the Athens National Garden.
The event, entitled "Reading Solomos from the Strani Hill to the National Garden" is dedicated to the poet that wrote Greece's national anthem was held to mark the bicentennial since the Greek Revolution of 1821. It is taking place under the aegis of the Hellenic National Commission for UNESCO.
