SATA cancels second day of strike following talks with government

Taxi drivers have decided to cancel the planned second day of strike action.

Specifically, as announced by the Attica Taxi Drivers' Union (SATA), “its praesidium has decided to cancel the planned second day of strike action. The strike will end at 6:00 am on Thursday, as the union participates in constructive dialogue with the State. The recent meeting with the Minister of Transport and the rescheduling of the appointment for the coming weeks demonstrate the commitment and willingness to re-examine the issues affecting the sector.”
