President Tassoulas: The message and feeling of the Lord's Resurrection is redeeming

The President of the Hellenic Republic Constantine Tassoulas, accompanied by his wife, Fani Stathopoulou, and their daughter Magda, attended the Resurrection Service at the Church of Saint John in Poseidonia, Syros island.

In his statement, Tasoulas said:

“Easter means passage, transition. And today, at this very moment, we celebrate exactly that: the passage from death to life, from darkness to light, from despair and mourning to joy.

In an uncertain and threatening world that surrounds us, the message and feeling of the Lord’s Resurrection is redeeming!

And at such a moment, when ‘Christ is Risen’ resounds joyfully throughout Greece and among Hellenism, we wish that the victory of life and hope over death may also become a victory of peace, reconciliation, and prosperity in today’s troubled and unsettled world!”
