A hospital worker gave life... with his death
He became an organ donor after it was discovered that he was unfortunately clinically dead.
The victim was 56 – year old and was working in the department of food catering in Venizeleio hospital.
The man was operated and remained in intensive care unit last week, but he didn't succeed it. Kostas Chachlioutis, intensive care officer said, that doctors certified that his brain didn't work and his relatives agreed to donate his organs.
Doctors would remove his kidneys yesterday, but they decided to wait for the evaluation of their organs.
