Crete: Cruise ship bumped to the port
A slight bump without any injuries was reported in the morning, while Louis Olympia cruise ship was mooring in the port of Heraklion. The ship had a Maltese Flag.
The area was extremely windy, with 7 – 8 Beaufort and the impact probably occurred during maneuvers for mooring the ship.
In the ship cruise, 514 passengers are aboard and 445 crew.
The Louis Olympia suffered a small dent below the waterline and the authorities are checking for more breakdowns, in order to give permission to travel again.
