Andreas Loverdos, the Scientologists and the Simitis government

The man who has linked his name with the "murderous", -as termed by the medical associations of the country-, law for prescription of active substance and signed to subsidize a NGO (which is denounced as cheater) with million of Euros, is Andreas Loverdos. As was revealed recently by the UN, in the case of the NGO, the claims of Mr. Loverdos were refuted, and therefore were raised questions about a possible service from Mr. Loverdos to the interests of 'cronies'.

Andreas Loverdos, the Scientologists and the Simitis government

Today, newsbomb.gr reveals a sequence of controllable coincidences, which allegedly lead Andreas Loverdos (in the mid- 1990s) from the courtrooms in ministerial posts in the Simitis government and intersected his political course with critical posts and decisions, the impact of which the Greek people will pay for a long time.

The starting point is reportedly the court case for the closure of the Centre for Applied Philosophy of Greece, known as KEFE. The conclusion of the Advocate for the real purposes of the organization, included data for the profiling of representatives of politics and the judiciary from KEFE and for the relationships and briefing to foreign centers.

KEFE was then in the news, after several complaints from parents about problems faced by their children with their inclusion in this organization. It appeared as a non- profit organization which held philosophical discussions and pursuits. In the light of publicity, however, came many complaints and evidence that suggested that was a religious - economic organization with links to intelligence services, and was under of similar organizations in Denmark and the U.S. , while the ultimate goal was the economic and psycho-spiritual control of their members.

When Loverdos defended Scientology

Andreas Loverdos has a relatively hidden relationship with the extreme and condemned cult organization known as Scientology (associated with KEFE), as mentioned in earlier articles. But this relationship (along with Petros Efthymiou) seems to help promoted them to the senior ministerial levels of the Simitis government. That period, the other "Scientology fan" Michalis Stathopoulos (who was characterized as "the ID man"), imposed on the government of PASOK the known issue of erasure of religion from identity cards and according to many, he was fully In line with many of the Scientology's directives from the U.S. and Denmark. Andreas Loverdos, along with Efthimiou and Stathopoulos allegedly were the troika of Scientology on the identities subject.

In accordance with the unchain.gr, on 10 and 11 May 1999, Georgios Mavros, along with Mr. Andreas Loverdos (former Foreign Secretary), defended members of Scientology, who were accused for the known "filing" of politicians, journalists, clergy, judges etc. In short, according the accusations, they were systematically monitoring and collecting information relating to the private, social, professional life, the philosophical, religious and political beliefs and the economic and social activities of important personalities of public life, of politics, church, judiciary and journalism and then that, they had classify these information in documents and personal files, all of which were sent to foreign information centers.

The subsequent Education Minister, Petros Efthymiou, relative by marriage with leading members of Scientology, testified as a defense witness stating that if they convicted this would be an ideological conviction. During the trial were revealed much about the plans for the identities, the church-state separation, defamation of Greece for violations of religious and human rights, the engaging journalists, etc.

The "scandal" of the case, for many people, is that they were not called to testify nor informed the important persons who allegedly were "filed" by the organization, such as Miltiades Evert, Antonis Samaras, dozens of clergy, journalists, judges and others. The Judicial Council had explicitly decided to invite everyone involved. How and by whom was violated the decree of the Court of Appeals? The former Deputy Foreign Minister, Andreas Loverdos, was defense counsel in the trial of Scientology and described the trial as a "clash of the Orthodox Church with the Church of Scientology". He also emphasized that the participation and support of conferences organized by the ally of Scientology and the self-declared "dervish of the Mevlevi order and Bechtasi" Mr. Takis Alexiou (President of PANIFE - National Historical and Philosophical Society), and this shows that that occured positive work. The prosecutor Ioannis Angelis, who made raids in the offices of "Scientology" KEFE, wrote in his Report that it was KEFE that funded such conferences.

In these Conferences executed psychological fermentation of participants from many political, social and professional areas, in certain matters (religious freedom, "multiculturalism", etc), which are currently the main beam axis of "modernizing" attack on Greek society. The former Minister of Justice, Mr. Stathopoulos played a coordinating role in at least one of these conferences. Noteworthy also is that a in a document - feature activity profiling- of the organization in 1993, the then MEPs Efremidis, Alavanos and Papayannakis described as "anti-orthodox", and the organization believed that it can reach them. Peter Kounalakis also included in the corresponding list.

Checklist for hiring lawyers

It would be unrealistic to consider these events as professional coincidence or as a natural fact, as highlighted in reports. The selection of the lawyers of Scientology has nothing to do with chance. Lawyers must pass the checks of a forty points check list ... (Lawyer Hiring Checklist)!

On February 13, 1994 and 10.19 pm Director of Special Affairs of KEFE, Elias Gratsias, received by Marlis official of the European Office of Special Affairs, a document (with ship code 1402005 OSAEU), in which there were detailed instructions for hiring lawyers. The foreign official (named Marlis and was from the European Business School (OPS) of Scientology in Denmark: A / ORS AIDE OSA ÅU GR) noted that "A checklist for recruitment is a standard action".

Some of the salient points of the document are as follows:
Examine whether the lawyer will be able to "reproduce and adopt our aggressive strategies." "If he is low on the scale of tones we will have interruptions and poor reproduction in our lines."

Also examined if the lawyer "has handled government affairs, if "contacts" with governmental services, if "linked" to a known antagonist of Scientology."

It is noteworthy that they examine whether the lawyer has "any contacts with the press" and "whether he agrees with the importance of bringing the press on our side".

Of particular concern is the spot that allegedly examined whether the lawyer " knows the judge or about the judge."

After Mr. Loverdos defended the Scientologists and attacked the Orthodox Church, he was appointed Deputy Foreign Minister after the resignation / removal of his predecessor (John Zafeiropoulos), in the famous case where his predecessor allegedly was not compatible with the wishes of Foreign Minister George Papandreou on the allocation of funds to various sinful "Non-governmental organizations" and the policy pursued by the government of PASOK in the Balkans. In the letter sent to Simitis wrote "Because of my absolute disagreement with Mr. George Papandreou as to the organization and conduct of our policy in the highly sensitive and crucial area of international economic relations of our country and to the implementation procedures of the Greek plan for the Economic Reconstruction of the Balkans, I submit my resignation from the post of deputy foreign minister."

Let's say that Loverdos then stepped on ... many mines. When Loverdos was minister the sinful NGOs were arise and consolidated their power, one of which was the «International Mine Initiative» (IMI), which supposedly removed mines from the Balkans, the Middle East and elsewhere, but at great expense and without ever doing the work undertaken. Did Alex Rondos was above of Loverdos? These are issues of great concern, especially when Loverdos is presented now as a leader of an "independent" political party.
