NBC: Amphipolis, the grand riddle of 2014

In the review list for 2014, NBC records the most important scientific developments in the world.

In the first place of the list is the discovery of Amphipolis and following the unlocking of the DNA code of the birds, the effects of global warming, the threat of ebola.

"Amphipolis tomb unearthed: Archaeologists discovered a previously unknown tomb in northern Greece that they dated to Alexander the Great's era in 300 B.C. So far they've found intriguing mosaics, statues of maidens and sphinxes — and a skeleton. Who was buried there?" wonders the NBC. "We should get a better idea in 2015."
