Clashes among groups of different nationalites in Moria hotspot
Clashes were reported throughtout the night (04/08/2016) at the hot spot of Moria on Lesvos among groups of migrants and refugees of different nationalities. The brawl started around midnight in the area where underage refugees are hosted.
According to witnesses, children from Afghanistan moved against children from Syria who on their part, as they claimed being blackmailed by other national groups as the Iraqis.
Approximately 40 people escaped when the doors in the area where the underage are being held and a container was destroyed. Many children were injured and five of them were sent to the hospital.
Police intervened at 04:00 am and the condition returned to normal.
