Salary is the reason of social conflict in Europe, Tzanakopoulos says
"The core of the social issue and the social conflict in Europe is the salary," government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos said on Sunday during the SYRIZA central committee proceedings.
On the issue of the minimum wage, he said that Europeans do not want an increase of more than 2-2.5%, while stressing that, on the part of the government, "what we want is to make the salary mobilize the economy."
He said that every day we face multifaceted pressures from established interests and from the markets, replacing the role of the troika.
