Drug dealer arrested with over 1.5 kg of heroin from Bulgaria
A 45-year old individial was arrested in Efkarpia, Thessaloniki for alleged membership in a drug dealing ring.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided a parking lot where they found the suspect with three packages of heroine weighing a total of 1 kilo and 531 grams.
According to police, the suspect belongs to a drug dealing ring that imports drugs from Bulgaria and distributes them to the Greek market. The seized amount, they said, was going to be distributed to other members of the ring in the area of Thessaloniki.
A search in the suspect's house revealed an additional amount of heroin (143 grams).
The man is due to appear before a local prosecutor.
