Shipping Min Kouvelis visits quake-stricken Zakynthos
Shipping and Island Policy Minister Fotis Kouvelis arrived on the quake-stricken island of Zakynthos late Friday to examine the damages provoked by the quake to the port's infrastructures.
Kouvelis is accompanied by former Justice Minister and SYRIZA MP elected in Zakynthos Stavros Kontonis and the Coast Guard chief Stamatios Raptis.
On Saturday morning Kouvelis participated in a meeting at Zakynthos port authority building and was briefed by the chief of the port authority Athanassios Sioutis on the condition of the port.
Kouvelis will also have meetings with local agencies.
