Independent deputy Amyras resigns

In his letter, Amyras said that he will "not make use of the shameful Kountoura amendment" that SYRIZA passed in order to abolish the incompatibility clause that bars a serving deputy from being a candidate MEP.

Amyras was elected with the Potami party in January 2015. His seat will go to Potami's Antigoni Lyberaki.
