President meets Antioch Patriarch John X on final day of visit to Lebanon
President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopios Pavlopoulos on Friday concluded his two-day visit to Lebanon by going to Balamand and meeting the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East John X, who presented him with the Medal of the Apostles Peter and Paul.
In statements as he accepted the medal, President Pavlopoulos referred to Antioch's long history as a centre for Greek culture, noting that this tradition was continued by the Antioch Patriarchate.
