Gennimata: Coronavirus can't be tackled by communications exercises

Opposition Movement for Change (KINAL) leader Fofi Gennimata on Thursday accused the government of focusing on communications instead of drawing up a comprehensive action plan for handling the coronavirus epidemic.

"The latest developments with the new coronavirus cases prove that the government's plan for handling the virus contains dangerous gaps," she said, noting that the government should stop focusing on communications management and "mutual congratulations" and "establish in safe procedures, in practice, for the protection of the public health."
