PM Mitsotakis chairs cabinet meeting
A cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is currently underway at the Maximos Mansion.
The meeting which is held via video call will focus on the finance ministry's legislation initiatives for the incorporation of tax directions , the health ministry's legislation initiatives such as the ratification fo the donation contracts between the Greek State and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation for the upgrading of infrastructure in the health sector.
Additionally, the environment and energy ministry will present a draft law related to the reduction of plastics and the culture and sports ministry will present the sports bill.
Finally, the justice ministry will make its recommendations in terms of the appointment of the president of the Council of State, the President of the Supreme Court (Areios Paghos) and five vice-presidents of the Supreme Court.
