Boat with migrants and refugees in distress off the coast of Kyparissia
A boat carrying approximately 50 migrants and refugees was reported to be in distress in the sea region northwest of Kyparissia, western Peloponnese in the Ionian sea.
One of the passengers called the emergency number 112. Vessels sailing nearby are heading to the area while weather conditions are bad, with strong winds of 8-9 Beaufort blowing in the area.
