Commenting on Deer's assessment that in the British market, despite the general reluctance, there is interest in tourism in Greece in the spring and summer of 2021, the Minister of Tourism pointed out that "our country will encourage and strengthen demand for the next year, with a series of promotional campaigns, as well as extensive advertising partnerships."

Theoharis stated that "the advertising campaign for the North Aegean islands is ready for implementation, as Greece has included in the strategic plan for the development of tourism the attraction of visitors to alternative destinations, in addition to those that are already established and popular."

Garry Wilson, CEO of EasyJet Holidays, praised the practices that Greece applied during this year's opening of tourism under pandemic conditions. "I wish all countries were as consistent and effective in opening up the tourism market as Greece was this summer," Wilson said, stressing that Greece is already emerging as a popular destination for next season, with demand recovering very quickly.
