Earthquake registering 4.1 on the Richter scale felt in W Peloponnese Friday night
The areas of Messinia and Ilia in the west part of the Peloponnese were shaken by a light earthquake registering 4.1 on the Richter scale on Friday.
The quake registered around 21.35, and according to the revised estimate of the Athens National Observatory's Geodynamic Institute, its epicenter was 25km SW of Kiparissia, SW Peloponnese, while its depth was at around 23km.
According to the Euromediterranean Seismological Center, the quake measured 4.2 on the Richter scale and its epicenter was 9km SW of Filiatra.
