General strike to affect transportation on Wednesday (6/4/2022)
There will be no Athens metro, tram, electric railway (ISAP) and suburban railway (proastiakos) services on Wednesday, due to these workers unions' participation in the 24hr general strike called by Greece's umbrella unions ADEDY and GSEE.
There will also be no trolley buses on the day, while regular buses will hold two 3-hour work stoppages, one at shift's start (to 09:00) and another at the end (from 21:00).
Air traffic controllers will also strike on April 6, as decided by the Greek Air Traffic Controllers’ Association (GATCA).
