Iliopoulos: Every day with the Mitsotakis government is a lost day for the country
Main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance spokesperson Nassos Iliopoulos strongly criticised the government in an interview with Alpha TV on Tuesday.
Iliopoulos spoke of the "inadequate" measures to deal with soaring prices in a period when Greek households are struggling to make ends meet.
He explained that "the government does not want to take measures, it does not want to defend the public interest" and argued that "political pressure should be increased so that elections will be held".
"The answer to soaring prices cannot be patience," he pointed out.
"The reality is that Mitsotakis is not taking any risks with stability. Mitsotakis is the main factor for instability in the country", he said.
"Every day with the Mitsotakis government is a lost day for the country. He must leave immediately. We cannot get through the difficult winter that is coming with this government," Iliopoulos underlined.
