"If anything was shown through the course of multiple crises, an aspect of which was also the pandemic crisis, it was that, in health, the private sector cannot take the needs of society upon its shoulders. It was confirmed that it cannot cope with a situation that demands higher investments, specialisation and reliability. Only the state, through strong public interventions, can play a catalytic and redemptive role," he said.
