"Our first meeting for 2025 is an opportunity to pursue our tasks with enhanced vigour. A difficult year is ahead of us. Beyond our borders, wars are raging, economic uncertainty and instability prevail in many societies, while the climate crisis is becoming increasingly threatening if we think about the unprecedented fires in California," Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said in a cabinet meeting on Friday.
"However, despite the difficulties that exist, Greece is responding positively as a country of stability in an unstable world and as a political and governmental majority which today inspires confidence in the midst of repeated governmental crises from Germany to Canada, another G7 country which has entered a politically testing time," he pointed out.
