Tsoukalas: Ministers tried to undermine Tempi rallies with claims of destabilisation

PASOK spokesperson Kostas Tsoukalas, in an interview with Skai TV, stressed that there were magnificent gatherings both in Greece and abroad for the second anniversary of the Tempi railway accident."

He said that the protest rallies had no partisan background and added that citizens sent three messages: justice, truth, and safety.

"As active citizens and parents, we do not accept that the country is outside the European normality; we are in danger on public transport without the minimum safety clauses," Tsoukalas said, noting that top ministers campaigned against the rally using rhetoric that “some people want to destabilise the country."
