Marinakis: Sense of security and justice among citizens is being strengthened

"Dealing with criminality and all forms of delinquency is a constant, daily challenge," government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis said on Thursday.

"It would be naive to claim that crime can be completely eradicated. However, it can be drastically reduced. The New Democracy government, true to its pre-election commitments, is transforming the slogan ‘legality everywhere’ from an empty promise into a results-driven policy, proving that with political will and a solid plan, tangible results can be achieved — strengthening the sense of security and justice among citizens," he emphasized, making specific reference to concrete examples.

"Offenders and criminals have existed, exist, and unfortunately will continue to exist. But now, citizens know that there is a State that strictly enforces the law," he stated.
