Police evacuate River West shopping mall following bomb threat

The Hellenic Police on Friday ordered the evacuation of the River West shopping mall on Kifissos Avenue after receiving a phone call making a bomb threat.

According to the police, an unindentified individual called the 100 police emergency number at 14:26 and warned that there was an explosive device in the shopping mall, without giving a time of explosion.

Police forces rushed to the scene, among them a bomb disposal team, and are doing a thorough check of all spaces in the mall.
