Pierrakakis attends his first G7 FinMin meeting as Eurogroup president

Greek National Economy & Finance Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis said on Friday that he participated in a G7 finance ministers meeting, in his first meeting as president of the Eurogroup.

In a brief social media post, Pierrakakis represented eurozone countries. "Today I participated in the last meeting of G7 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors under the Canadian Presidency. I would like to thank François-Philippe Champagne for his leadership this year and I am looking forward to working next year with Roland Lescure under the French Presidency of the G7," he said.
