How much will parties get as a grant for the European elections?

Time for television and radio for all parties and coalitions were decided and are as follows: 40% based on the rates received by the parties in the elections of 2009, 40% based on the rates received by the parties in the national elections of 2012 and remaining 20% will be distributed equally to those parties involved in the upcoming elections. Regarding the electoral funding, it was announced that the amount allocated to parties that will participate in the elections will reach 7 million euros, 2.4 million less than the electoral funding in the 2009 European elections. Out of the 7 million, 60% will be disbursed immediately and the remaining 40% will be paid in June. During the meeting, the issue of promotion of the elections in order to avoid abstinence and to ensure the widest possible participation was discussed.
