Hijacking attempt on a flight to Ankara

The 50 years old man – the Turkish authorities didn't refer his name – threatened the crew of the aircraft that he was going to explode the plane, if the pilot wouldn't change their final destination, in order to land in Konstantinoupoli.

He said that he wanted to take part in the protest of May 1 in the Konstantinoupoli.

Afterwards, he locked himself in the toilet and yelled to the crew that he had a GPS device, which would cause an explosion, if they didn't change their flying path.

There was a happy ending and the airplane was landed in Ankara, despite the threats of the man, who was arrested by police officers.
