British Ambassador visits innovative Corallia technology clusters
The British Ambassador to Greece John Kittmer visited on Wednesday the headquarters of the Hellenic Technology Clusters Initiative "Corallia" in Athens, in the framework of the Greek-British cooperation in the fields of innovation and technology.
Kittmer had the chance to see in their natural environment the two highly specialized technological clusters coordinated by Corallia, namely "si-Cluster" (space technologies and applications) and "gi-Cluster" (gaming and creative content).
This was the second visit of the British Ambassador to Corallia, the previous one having taken place at Corallia's facilities at Patras, north-western Peloponnese, where the "mi-Cluster" for nano-/micro-electronics systems and applications is based.
Kittmer noted, that his latest visit to Corallia produced new ideas about novel ways of cooperating and exchanging know-how with London's Tech City, the third largest technological start-up cluster in the world.
He also underlined that a strong Greece with a competitive economy is in the interests of Britain.
