Angela's big-businesses in Greece

The essence is in the details and in politics, other than the body language, one must weigh the meaning behind the formalities.Yesterday's picture of Prime Minister was very revealing about what was said at a working lunch with Angela Merkel. Because the driving force in the history of the States is none other than money, it is obvious that, besides denials, Merkel put other things on the table.Specifically, Merkel raised two issues which describe the whole yesterday's debate: The project of the Task Force and the loans from the German KfW.These two issues are the "main issues" that raises the Angela Merkel in every encounter with the Greek Prime Minister. Let's see these issues in detail:1 Loans to small and medium enterprisesSince there will be no big-businesses if you do not keep satisfied the bourgeoisie, Mrs. Merkel clarified Samaras that "since your banks can not increase the liquidity in the market, we will do it." This move has a true sense, because it is the backbone of the Greek economy.

Angela's big-businesses in Greece

The... news is that lenders consider impossible the Greek banks to give loans to these businesses. If the Greek state was certain that the cocks will open after so much money that came in recent years in the Greek banking system, then it would not ask from Europe and especially from Germany the businesses' funding.

The funding is essentially loans and will come from the German investment bank.

The German KfW, which already participates in Greek Investment Fund, has given 100 million Euros like Greece did.

However, with the recycling of the capital, the total funding that will be given to small and medium enterprises in the next seven years, can reach up to 700 million Euros.

Then why are so anxious to provide liquidity to small businesses in Greece? From an economic point of view is the only way for the Greek economy to survive and to return the loan to troika. Only if the businesses produce money then this money will return to the banks in the form of deposits and then in turn the banks will be able to give loans to the people.

2 From another perspective, however, the goal is the big businesses!

Merkel has said this, many times. This is the reason that her closest associates, Mr. Reichenbach and Mr. Fouchtel, are in Greece. Mr. Reichenbach will undertake the issues of Health and Mr. Fouchtel the issues of municipalities and local government.

Merkel was absolutely clear in her statements:

"There is still another critical point, the loans for small and medium enterprises. Only in this way can development be achieved and Germany, also in this area, is trying to provide assistance.

We have a close exchange of views on many issues. On this point I can mention the Task Force, under which Germany has undertaken two projects, which I think are moving very well in Greece. The first is to improve the health system and the second is the cooperation for the local government. Both programs, according to the information I had from the Prime Minister, are in progress and are on track."

Merkel considers the National Health and the refuse removal as profitable projects and not a part of the social policy of the state. She clearly wants the German companies to sell equipment and expertise to government hospitals and German contractors - with Greek partners - to take the management of garbage.

Besides, Germans had profits from Greece in the past with other big deals with OTE, submarines, armaments expenditure, etc.

So the question is what the Greek Prime Minister replied?
And assuming that he responded positively, under what consideration for the interests of our country did this and what under what jurisdiction?

By what authority can even a prime minister to negotiate such matters in closed lunches?

These are questions that come to mind of every Greek citizen and the government has an obligation to respond.

The rest on the extension of the debt is just for show.
