Parents of Romanos: “No more dead children”

In their letter, the parents Paulina Nasioutzik and George Romanos said "Mr. Athanasiou said yesterday that tries in vain to contact us. It is a paradox that did not use the contact number that we had make available to him when, 7 days ago, we asked to meet him. It is sad to lie claiming that Nikos is fed with a liquid diet. We demand to issue a medical report today, to show the truth."

Elsewhere, they make clear that they do not agree with the promoted legislation for distance learning: "Mr. Athanasiou proposed the distance learning. It is outrageous to suggest that ignores the raison d'être of exit licenses to prisoners. These licenses help the prisoners to get out of the prison in order to be reconnecting with society. The educational leaves keep the culture alive, they do not sanitize it, and they link it with the social environment, in order to transform it to education.

It is unacceptable to propose virtual rights when the hunger strike of our son is real. Time is pushing relentlessly. The answer is one. Otherwise, Greece in a few days will be mourning the first dead political prisoner, of hunger strike.

It is not possible to build the future, based on Death."
