FYROM gov't tables constitutional amendments in fulfilment of Prespes Agreement obligations
The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) government tabled four amendments to the constitution, a move approved earlier on Friday by the cabinet towards a name change and the fulfilment of its obligations as set out in the Prespes Agreement with Greece.
The four amendments will be discussed at first round by a parliamentary committee, starting on November 7. According to FYROM parliamentary rules, discussion on each amendment must take no more than three days.
Prime Minister Zoran Zaev has called a plenary session for December 1 for their voting.
