The admission made by Lord Kenneth Clark strengthens the claim for the return of the Parthenon Sculptures to Greece, President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopios Pavlopoulos said in an exclusive statement to the newspaper "Ta Nea" on Friday.
"Lord Kenneth Clark's admission defines the magnitude of his cultural morality in contrast to the continued intransigent stance of those in authority at the British Museum," Pavlopoulos said.
