Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Friday will brief political party leaders on his visit to the US.
At 12.00 on Friday he will meet with main opposition SYRIZA party leader Alexis Tsipras, at 13.00 he will meet with Movement For Change (KINAL-Kinima Allagis) party leader Fofi Gennimata, at 17.00 with Greek Solution party leader Kyriakos Velopoulos and at 18.00 with MeRA25 leader Yanis Varoufakis.
Mitsotakis will hold a meeting with the Communist Party KKE secretary general Dimitris Koutsoumbas on Monday, at 11.00.
He will brief the political leaders on the presentation of Greek positions to the US leadership, with emphasis on Greece's faithful application of International Law and on the diplomatic isolation of Turkey in our wider region.
He will also brief them on discussions regarding US initiatives to invest in Greece, the benefits of the EastMed pipeline to the US, as well as discussions on aircraft procurement.
He will refer to the US officials who support the Greek positions such as Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo as well as to the productive meeting with Nancy Pelosi, speaker of the House of Representatives.
In addition Mitsotakis will stress the need for national unity in view of developments in the Greek-Turkish issue as well as wider developments in the Eastern Mediterranean.
