Strong winds blowing in the Aegean continued to keep ferries docked at most Greek ports for second consecutive day on Wednesday.

Ferries for the eastern Aegean islands, the Cyclades, Crete and the Dodecanese did not depart on Wednesday from the port of Piraeus, as winds in the Aegean reached up to 9 on the Beaufort scale.
Ferry services from the port of Lavrio to Kea were also not operating.
The Alexandroupolis-Samothrace ferry link was also out of service while ferry connections from the port of Piraeus to the islands of the Saronic Gulf were running normally.
According to the meteo weather service, winds are going to start subsiding from Wednesday afternoon.
