Two arrests, nine fines for violation of measures and 313 fines for non-use of face masks on Monday

Police arrested two individuals during 55,640 checks of the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus conducted on Monday 31 August in Greece, handing out nine fines to stores and 313 fines for the non-use of face masks.
On the islands of Cyclades police inspected 51 businesses and recorded seven violations for the non-use of face masks in Mykonos.
Since early August police have written out tickets for 448 for violations of the measures and have arrested 30 people.
