Greece registered 482 new novel coronavirus infections on Saturday, of which 46 are related to known clusters and 19 were identified at entry points into Greece, the National Public Health Organization (EODY) said.
The total coronavirus cases in the country since end-February total 24,932, of which 3,475 are linked to travel abroad and 10,037 to already known cases.
A total of 83 patients are in ICUs. Their median age is 66 years old, 95.2 pct have an underlying condition or are aged 70 or above, and 24 are women. Another 256 have been discharged from ICUs since the start of the disease.
In addition, there are 10 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing fatalities to 500 in total. Of the total, the median age was 79 years and 96.2 pct had an underlying condition and/or was aged 70 or more, while 188 of them were women.
