23 people test positive to coronavirus in 2,419 random tests in Nea Smyrni
Some 8 people tested positive to the coronavirus during some 802 free rapid tests that were carried out randomly at the southern suburb of Nea Smyrni on Friday by a medical team of the National Public Health Organization (EODY).
IN TIME
Of the 8 people that were found infected, 5 are men, while the median age of all is 34 years.
A total of 2,419 tests were carried out at Nea Smyrni between October 21 and 23, during which 23 people tested positive to the virus: 16 men and 7 women with a median age of 36 years.
EODY teams will continue with the random testing of citizens at the main square of Agios Ioannis suburb on Saturday, where the metro stop is.
