PM Mitsotakis visits HORECA 2022 hospitality industry expo

"Guided by the tourism and catering sectors, which are always very important pillars of the Greek economy, we will be able to leave behind these two difficult years of the pandemic," noted Mitsotakis, adding that "we are in the beginning of a new important development cycle."

At the expo, the prime minister was given a tour by FORUM SA CEO Thanassis Panagoulias through the pavilions of exhibitors who are active in the sectors of food and beverages, hotel equipment, kitchen appliances, web marketing and computerization, among others.

"We are looking at a very good tourist season this year, while the interest of companies -including Greek companies- for investments and for job creation is extremely intense," noted Mitsotakis, who was accompanied by Deputy Tourism Minister Sofia Zacharaki.
