PM Mitsotakis meets King Abdullah II
On the sidelines of the MED9 Summit in Slovenia, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with King Abdullah II of Jordan, with whom he discussed the latest developments in the Middle East. The Greek premier expressed his appreciation for Jordan's role in maintaining stability in the wider region. He also stressed the importance of maintaining the ceasefire, as well as making progress on the points of President Trump’s peace plan.
Mitsotakis emphasised that both European countries, bilaterally, and the EU should contribute to the implementation of the plan, particularly to the effective delivery of humanitarian aid. He also reiterated Greece’s readiness to assist with humanitarian aid and to participate in the reconstruction of Gaza.
