Industrial turnover index down 4.1 pct
Turnover in the industrial sector fell by 4.1 pct in January this year, compared with the same month in 2013, after a decline of 9.7 pct recorded in January 2013, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Friday.
The statistics service, in a report, attributed this development in the composite turnover index to a 3.4 pct decline in the mining turnover index and a 4.1 pct fall in the manufacturing turnover index according to ANA-MPA
The domestic market turnover index fell by 1.5 pct in January, while the external market turnover index dropped by 7.4 pct.
